Winter Penguin Collages

Penguin Collages

These were done by my 2nd grade students.  We discussed shapes, rounding, corners, and doing things in order.  We read the book, "Penguins, Penguins, Everywhere"- by Bob Barner.

Supplies Needed:

Scissors

Assorted Papers - don't forget a sheet of holiday design for your ear muffs and scarf

Glitter (fun to add)

White Paint

Q-Tips

Glue Stick

Step 1: Cut out the body and glue down.

Step 2: Cut out belly and glue down.

Step 3: Cut out ear muffs, eyes, nose, hands, scarf and glue down.

Step 4: Using your Q-Tip create snowflakes

Step 5: (not shown) Add glitter
