Christmas Tree Oil Pastels

3rd- 5th Grade Project


Supplies Needed:


Black construction paper
oil pastels
pencil

Step one- using your pencil draw your tree then everything else
Step two using your oil pastels color everything

Christmas Glass Glitter Ornaments


Glitter Ornaments
We made in our 3rd and 5th graders class today!


Supply List:

Glitter
Glass Bulbs
Glitter It Glue (found at craft store in the glitter section)
Little Funnel (found at craft store in the glitter section)

1.  Open your ornament
2. Squeeze approx a tsp of glue in the ornament - put your thumb over the ornament and swish around until the glue is covering the inside. Discard of any excess glue.
3.  Using your funnel add some glitter - out your thumb over the top and swish the glue around until the glitter is spread evenly inside the ornament.

Whimsical Christmas Trees


Whimsical Christmas Tree
2nd and 3rd grade 


Supply List:
Paper
Water Colors
Oil Pastels
Black Sharpie
Pencil
Paint Brush
Water
Glitter (optional) 

Step one: Draw your design.  Use a sharpie and outline everything except the swirls as shown.


Step two: using oil pastels color in the design.


Step three: Use water colors to paint the background. You can paint over the oil pastels (they are water resistant)
Add glitter if you want.

Colorful Snowman



Colorful snowman by 3rd and 5th grade students




Supplies Needed:

White Paper

Acrylic Paints

Pencil

Q-Tips
Paint Brush



Step 1: Fold your paper in four equal sections.




Step 2: Paint all sections different colors.




Step 3: Using your pencil draw a snowman.




Step 4: Paint your snowman (we used q-tips for the eyes, nose, and buttons)





Step 5: Add snow if you want.
